LECTURE NOTES
For reading subject, at first, I thought it would be about learning how to read and before the first lecture started, I wondered what was this subject all about. After learning it, I realized that this subject is not all about how to use a dictionary or how to read but it teaches more about analysing and comprehension skills. I would say that Reading subject is the most difficult subject among all. It does not require us to be super good in English but it is more about using particular skills to score well. I think the most difficult part of our lesson is probably how to formulate the implied main idea. Moving on to our class session, I really enjoyed every single class of this subject because Sir Afiq is supportive and we would do the sharing session every once a week.
I enjoyed writing those journals because I felt the satisfaction of completing it by own.
For our reading presentation, we chose the topic of 'How Mattel and Disney changed the narratives and products of the Babie and Disney princess franchise to suit modern audiences'. I found the enjoyment of doing this assignment because it revolved with my childhood cartoon and doll. We also did a lot of researches on this topic to make it informative and easy to comprehend.
